The double layer keeps your tent cooler in the summer and retains more heat in the winter. The overwrap features the same windows as the bivvy itself so you’ll always have good air circulation when the situation calls for it. At the front you create extra space where you can store things like bait buckets, dirty shoes or waders. A great addition to your bivvy!
